These lessons were developed for an OLLI class to teach adults approaches to creating abstract sketches. Artistic ability is not a prerequisite but is hoped to be enhanced by this course. A small part of The course includes 8 lessons on the art "isms" which resulted in abstraction. They depend heavily on links to web resources. There are also sketching exercises for each "ism". Since the objective is to develop the skill of abstract sketching, there is a video for each lesson exploring how the instructor goes about creating an abstract sketch. these are not directly related to the history of the lessons "ism".
